A Planned Parenthood depopulation center in Massachusetts is hoping to decrease birth rates by allowing young girls to seek abortions without their parents’ consent.In an&nbsp;<a href="https://www.wbur.org/news/2023/12/06/dominique-lee-parental-consent-abortion-massachusetts">interview</a> last week with&nbsp;WBUR,&nbsp;Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts Chief Executive Dominique Lee said her “number one priority” is “making abortion more accessible” in Massachusetts. To do that, Lee believes girls younger than 16 should be able to seek abortions without their parents’ consent.After the US Supreme Court overturned&nbsp;Roe v. Wade&nbsp;in 2020, Massachusetts lawmakers reacted by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.npr.org/2020/12/29/951259506/massachusetts-senate-overrides-veto-passes-law-expanding-abortion-access">passing</a> the ROE Act which lowered the consent age for abortion from 18 to 16. The law also allows abortion after 24 weeks.But Lee says that is not enough.“The parental consent requirement was reduced from age 18 to 16, but even 16 is still too high,” said Lee last week. “There’s no evidence that it’s medically necessary. On average, it just delays care anywhere from five to 21 days. That’s really critical when someone is deciding what options they have to choose, whether that’s medication abortion through the pill method or in-clinic surgical abortion.”Lee’s proposition is part of a major depopulation design which began several decades ago with the Jaffe Memo.In 1969 an economist named Frederick Jaffe devised a set of proposals to limit US population growth which continue to be put into practice today. Jaffe, who at the time was vice president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, had created the plan at the request of Bernard Berelson.Berelson was the head of the&nbsp;<a href="https://popcouncil.org/focus_area/gender-equality-equity/">Population Council</a>, an organization founded by John D. Rockefeller III in 1952 to stifle population growth in the United States. Until today the Population Council concerns itself with researching contraception and other ways to prevent births, such as the Copper T intrauterine device. Since then an estimated 50 million Copper Ts have been distributed to over 70 countries.&nbsp;In 1969, Berelson was looking for ideas.Jaffe rose to the occasion and responded with what would later become known as the Jaffe Memo. In it, Jaffe proposed a set of actions which he believed could stem the US birth rate, beginning with pushing more women into higher education and the workforce.&nbsp;“[T]he relationship between employment of women and lower fertility seems well established,”&nbsp;<a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0KCqtNShmxgYTA1REcxai1OME0/view?resourcekey=0-qliJBd6Jgnczp1-tsH2z_A">wrote</a> Jaffe. He said that full employment is accompanied by higher inflation, a sacrifice the US may need to make in order to depopulate. “How much inflation could or should we risk to achieve lower fertility?” he asked.Today, getting more women to enter the workforce is a strategy tirelessly adopted by globalist bodies such as the United Nations and the World Economic Forum (WEF). The UN is known to encourage women’s participation in the labor force at nearly every opportunity, even turning it into a&nbsp;<a href="https://apps.who.int/gb/inb/pdf_files/inb7/A_INB7_3-en.pdf">public health</a> issue.Jaffe proposed other strategies which he compiled into a table titled “Proposed measures to reduce fertility by universality or selectivity of impact in the US.” These included encouraging increased homosexuality and placing “fertility control agents in the water supply.”&nbsp;Common pesticides have been <a href="https://frontline.news/post/pesticides-cause-dramatic-impact-on-male-fertility-says-study" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">found</a> to not only dramatically affect fertility but to feminize males. In one study of the pesticide atrazine, most male frogs exposed to the toxin became attracted to other males, including some who began functioning as females and produced eggs. Most atrazine produced in the United States is manufactured by Syngenta, a company owned by the Chinese Communist Party.&nbsp;These pesticides, which have been detected in water supplies across the US, have recently been credited with reducing the sperm count in men by 50% over the last 50 years.Other depopulation techniques proposed by Jaffe included restructuring the family so that marriage is postponed or avoided altogether. He also listed compulsory education for children and government incentives for lower birth rates as possible effective methods. Another entry listed among the proposed measures simply reads “chronic depression” with no further explanation.Discouraging private home ownership is also one of the proposals, and a cornerstone of the WEF’s Agenda 2030 which&nbsp;<a href="https://www.caepla.org/what_would_a_world_without_property_rights_look_like">promises</a> taxpayers they will “own nothing and you’ll be happy.”Jaffe also proposed to “allow harmless contraceptives to be distributed nonmedically,” to “make contraception truly available and accessible,” and to provide “abortion and sterilization on demand,” which Lee and her colleagues at Planned Parenthood are working to achieve to the fullest extent.“The hypothesis underlying these proposals is that the achievement of a society in which effective contraception is efficiently distributed to all, based on present voluntary norms, would either result in a tolerable rate of growth, or go very far toward achieving it,” Jaffe wrote. “If this hypothesis is basically confirmed, it would negate the need for an explicit U.S. population policy which goes beyond voluntary norms.”In the year the Jaffe Memo was produced, then-President Richard Nixon proposed the creation of a presidential advisory commission which would be tasked with creating a plan to solve the “population problem.” The next year, Nixon&nbsp;<a href="https://nssm200.com/population-and-the-american-future-the-report-of-the-commission-on-population-growth-and-the-american-future/63.htm">established</a> the Commission on Population Growth and the American Future, on which sat both Jaffe and Berelson.Those of Jaffe’s proposed measures which have been enforced have been adopted by all major globalist organizations utterly, where homosexuality, abortion, birth control, and women in the workplace are all encouraged under the banner of “gender equality.”Today, the Population Council’s&nbsp;<a href="https://popcouncil.org/focus_area/climate-environment/">website</a> focuses on gender equality, abortion on demand, and even “climate change” as a determinant of “reproductive health and fertility.”Other globalist bodies have been investing heavily in bringing the Jaffe Memo to realization, particularly through an organization called FP2030.In July 2012, a meeting in London was&nbsp;<a href="https://frontline.news/post/us-gates-foundation-use-gender-strategy-for-population-control">convened</a> by USAID, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the UK Department for International Development (DFID), and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The goal of the meeting was “to empower the voluntary use of modern contraception by 120 million additional women and girls in the world’s lowest-income countries by 2020.” An organization called Family Planning 2020 (FP2020) was formed.FP2020 soon recruited over 130 governments, organizations and corporations to join the cause. Drug companies like Pfizer and Bayer&nbsp;<a href="https://fp2030.org/pfizer">pledged</a> to provide birth preventive products all around the world.&nbsp;As 2020 approached, FP2020’s founders evidently deemed it so successful that they renewed it for another decade and renamed the organization FP2030. Its globalist managers include North America and Europe Managing DIrector Monica Kerrigan, MPH, who previously worked for Planned Parenthood, the Gates Foundation and USAID.In 2021, FP2030 received $1.4 billion from government funding alone, with over $500 million annually from USAID.When starting a birth prevention campaign in a target country, FP2030’s founding organizations first contact an official in that country’s Health Ministry. They present the official with a strategy containing high-impact practices (HIPs) for preventing births on a mass scale and provide them with the funds to do it.However, FP2030’s goal is not simply to make birth prevention devices available, but to convince women to take them. Therefore, any mass birth prevention strategy must “improve attitudes.”&nbsp;One of the main vehicles used for changing minds and attitudes towards birth prevention is mass media. In a 2016 High Impact Practices Partners’ meeting&nbsp;<a href="https://www.fphighimpactpractices.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/highimpactpracticespartnersmeetingreport_nov292016.pdf">attended</a> by FP2030 operatives, organizations were encouraged to “[u]se one or more mass media channels (radio, TV, print) to increase knowledge, improve attitudes and self-efficacy, and encourage social change to effect family planning.”Another part of the strategy is using gender confusion ideology to prevent mass births. Whereas men and women naturally breed, masculinizing women and effeminizing men — contravening “gender norms” — is an effective way to stagnate a population.“For FP2030, an intentional approach to gender equality makes our work more effective in advancing both family planning and gender equality,” says an FP2030 presentation titled “FP2030 Gender Strategy.”The organization plainly states that “[g]ender norms . . . create barriers to FP access” and “[w]ith greater funding and scale, gender-transformative approaches will advance gender equality and accelerate progress on contraceptive access and use.”In countries where birth prevention rates are stagnant, FP2030 says gender ideology, or “positive gender norms,” can be “more effective”:<blockquote>In countries where contraceptive prevalence has plateaued, demand-side interventions promoting positive gender norms can be more effective than supply‑side approaches.</blockquote>Gender Strategy notes that feminist operatives are also very helpful in driving birth prevention.This may also explain why US intelligence agencies are heavily&nbsp;<a href="https://frontline.news/post/pride-georgian-style-gender-demolition-event-sponsored-by-cia-un-destroyed">funding</a> gender confusion around the globe through “Pride” organizations and events.Such gender confusion — where women are masculinized and men are effeminized — is also&nbsp;<a href="https://frontline.news/post/dangerous-tinkering-with-women-s-endocrine-system-in-single-minded-pursuit-of-convenient-reproductive-control">achieved</a> by birth prevention drugs themselves. According to scientific evidence, women who take birth prevention pills are likely to find more effeminate men attractive and themselves less attractive. They are also more likely to be sexually dissatisfied and cheat on their partners. If the woman wants to conceive, she can cease taking the pill which may make her lose interest in her partner, potentially fragmenting the family if a child is conceived.The desire among globalists to prevent births is aggressive. Even though certain birth preventive injections can increase the risk of HIV, for example, the World Health Organization (WHO) still recommends it be provided to women.“WHO advises that women should not be denied the use of progestogen-only injectables because of concerns about the possible increased [HIV] risk,”&nbsp;<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20230128065222/http://2016-2017progress.familyplanning2020.org/en/fp2020-in-countries/delivering-high-quality-and-rights-based-services">reads</a> an FP2020 report. Women should be made aware of the increased risk of HIV, it continues, but they should also be told there is “uncertainty over a causal relationship.”Vaccination is also included in FP2030's mass birth prevention strategy.Nepal’s government, for instance, “is developing an integrated care strategy that includes family planning and immunization integration. Progress is being made on ensuring that post-abortion family planning is regularly offered.” FP2030 funds to Nepal also go towards “employing mass media to reach youth, ethnic minorities, and marginalized and disadvantaged groups with family planning information.”Ultimately, FP2030 has been successful. One in three women of reproductive age is now using birth prevention products,&nbsp;<a href="https://progress.fp2030.org/measurement/">boasts</a> the organization, with the sharpest increase in Sub-Saharan Africa. As of July 2022, an estimated 371 million women and girls around the world are using birth prevention.Notably, this is in addition to birth prevention products used by men.

<h2>Who controls your car?</h2>Could your car be controlled by someone or something other than yourself? This question is real, not imaginative, and may become more relevant to more drivers in the coming years. As Frontline News <a href="https://frontline.news/post/kill-switch-to-be-mandated-in-cars-by-2026-with-software-deciding-if-you-re-too-impaired-to-drive" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">reported</a>, Biden's infrastructure bill H.R.3684, Section 24220, Drunk and Impaired Driving Prevention Technology, mandates that by 2026 all new cars must include technology to passively monitor drivers for drunk or impaired driving. Should the car's software algorithm determine that the driver is impaired, it is required to “prevent or limit motor vehicle operation.” Although the bill does not explicitly use the term “kill switch,” most readers understand it to be just that.Former Representative Robert Barr <a href="https://dailycaller.com/2021/11/29/barr-bidens-infrastructure-bill-contains-backdoor-kill-switch-for-cars/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">discussed</a> the bill with the Daily Caller in November 2021, shortly after Biden signed it. Among other issues, Barr raised concerns about data being stolen and cars being hacked and controlled by unauthorized parties.<blockquote>Everything about this mandatory measure should set off red flares.First, use of the word “passively” suggests the system will always be on and constantly monitoring the vehicle. Secondly, the system must connect to the vehicle’s operational controls, so as to disable the vehicle either before driving or during, when impairment is detected. Thirdly, it will be an “open” system, or at least one with a backdoor, meaning authorized (or unauthorized) third-parties can remotely access the system’s data at any time. (Emphases added.)</blockquote>Barr questioned who would have access to the data, how it could be accessed, and by whom — police without a warrant . . . private entities . . . hackers?<blockquote>Ironically, or perhaps intentionally, there also is no detail in the legislation about who would have access to the data collected and stored by the system. Could it be used by police, and could they access this information without a warrant? What about insurance companies, eager to know with what frequency their customers drove after drinking alcohol, even if it was below the legal limit? Such a trove of data presents a lucrative prize to all manner of public and private entities (including hackers), none of which have our best interests at heart.</blockquote><h2>Auto lenders already use kill switches</h2>Others have also expressed concern about hackers taking control of cars, for good reason.Kill switches have already been used, by companies providing sub-prime auto loans, to disable the cars of delinquent payers. Borrowers who have have their cars disabled, without laws in place to protect drivers, have face a variety of problems, including life-threatening situations.Is it likely that drivers affected by the 2026 mandate will face similar situations such as the ones described below?<h3>Cars permanently disabled</h3>Andy Grimm, writing for the Chicago Sun-Times, <a href="https://chicago.suntimes.com/2022/7/13/23206224/car-lot-lender-deactivated-cars-with-kill-switch-after-borrowers-fell-behind-on-payments-lawsuit" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">told</a> of a 2022 lawsuit being brought against a lender for using a kill-switch to permanently disable the cars of two individuals who lost their jobs in the spring of 2020, fell behind in their car payments, “and found their vehicles had stopped working thanks to a “vehicle starter interrupter switch” installed by their car dealers and lender.” Their cars have been sitting in front of their homes for two years.&nbsp;<h3>Car stopped while driving on the highway</h3>The HuffPost <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20220306012916/https://www.huffpost.com/entry/late-payment-a-kill-switch-can-strand-you-and-your_b_5bfd9668e4b052aa1843d8be" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">detailed</a> the dangerous situation one woman faced when her car was turned off while she was driving:<blockquote>[Las Vegas resident T. Candice] Smith in 2013 testified to the Nevada legislature that her car’s kill switch activated as she was driving down Interstate 15.“All of a sudden the steering wheel locked up and the car shut off,” she testified. “I was barely able to make it to the left shoulder. I was scared and shaking and had no idea what just happened.”</blockquote><h3>Few laws to protect car owners</h3>According to the HuffPost, few states have enacted laws regulating the use of kill switches.<blockquote>But only half a dozen states have enacted regulations on kill switches, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New Jersey. The laws vary, but all, at the least, require telling the borrower that the devices, which also have GPS tracking, are installed.The Colorado law specifically prohibits stopping the vehicle if doing so would pose a danger to its occupants, such as when it’s in motion. Most of the other laws call for 24 or 48 hours’ notice before the vehicle is disabled, and many allow grace periods or emergency overrides.Sophia Romero, staff attorney in the Consumer Rights Project at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, said it took years and a series of lawsuits for the law in her state to catch up with the practice of installing the devices on cars. (Emphasis added.)</blockquote><h3>Hackers could stop your car, too</h3>Vintage race car driver Lauren Fix reported on 'kill switches' for Car Coach Reports (see video below @3:05), noting the potential for hackers to retrieve a driver's data stored by the system and even take control of a vehicle.<blockquote>. . . tracking that data also makes it possible for bad actors to retrieve that because it's open.&nbsp;More pressing than the privacy concerns though are the safety issues included is an automatic kill switch with internet access. I can also foresee people’s cars being shut down just when they’re driving and eating. Will hackers be able to stop your car with mandated 'Kill Switch?'

<h2>How much of your safety should you delegate to government?&nbsp;</h2>In the name of safety, the government has taken steps that critics say have denied citizens what used to be considered inalienable constitutional rights.Citizens are concerned that their right to freedom of speech under the First Amendment is being <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/supreme-court-social-media-sites-government-content-misinformation-censorship/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">denied</a>, ostensibly, to keep citizens safe from "harmful misinformation," and fear that the Second Amendment right to bear arms is being <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/US/amendment-losing-relevance-gun-debate/story?id=79474562" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">infringed</a> upon to combat gun violence. Watchdogs further contend that citizens are being denied the Fifth Amendment's protection against self-incrimination and the Sixth Amendment's right to face one's accuser when technology is used to gather evidence.&nbsp;The fear now is that increased use of technology will soon mean an even greater loss of privacy and further erosion of the Fifth and Sixth Amendments, due to certain provisions in Joe Biden's infrastructure bill which will soon become mandatory. Under the guise of keeping citizens safe by preventing drunk driving, it may amount to ceding the freedom to travel to government control.<h2>H.R.3684 - Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act</h2><h3>Drunk and Impaired Driving Prevention Technology&nbsp;</h3>The infrastructure bill, <a href="https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/3684" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">HR. 3684</a>, passed by both chambers of Congress and signed by Biden on November 15, 2021, includes a provision for several vehicle monitoring technologies to be installed in cars, which have recently or will soon be required in new vehicles, including technology to determine if a driver is drunk or impaired.&nbsp;The Center for Automotive Research's Eric Paul Dennis <a href="https://www.cargroup.org/a-brief-overview-of-the-light-vehicle-safety-provisions-of-the-infrastructure-investment-and-jobs-act/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">reviewed</a> the bill and summarized “key sections.” Dennis, a senior transportation systems analyst, reviewed the section on “Drunk and Impaired Driving Prevention Technology” (HR 3684 Section 24220) and explained that Congress gave the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) the role of determining exactly what this section means and how it will be implemented:<blockquote>This provision directs NHTSA to issue a rule to require “advanced drunk and impaired driving prevention technology” in new light vehicles.<ul><li>Congress tasked NHTSA with interpreting this law, including establishing the statutory meaning of “impaired.”</li><li>The legislation directs NHTSA to adopt a new safety mandate by 15 November 2024 and begin enforcing it by September 2027 (at the latest) if this is feasible. [Emphasis added.]</li></ul></blockquote><h3>Impaired driving not defined</h3>Others, such as Michael Satterfield, writing as The Gentleman Racer®, were more detailed in their review of the legislation. Satterfield <a href="https://www.thegentlemanracer.com/2022/01/infrastructure-bill-includes-kill.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">poured</a> through the 1,039-page infrastructure bill. He agreed that good roads, bridges, and safety are important to automotive enthusiasts, but wrote that he uncovered some concerning legislation "buried deep within HR.3684." The legislation calls not only for changes in crash testing and advanced pedestrian crash standards but also for a "kill switch" to be standard for all new vehicles by 2026.Satterfield explained that all new vehicles will be required to have passive monitoring systems for the driver's behavior and an algorithm will determine if the driver is too impaired to operate the vehicle. If the algorithm decides that the driver is too impaired to operate the car, the program will have some means of taking control of the vehicle. But what constitutes impairment and what the program will actually do was not explained by the legislation, as Satterfield noted:<blockquote>What is not outlined in the bill is what constitutes impairment, outside of the blood alcohol standard, how does the software determine the difference between being tired and being impaired? Passive blood alcohol testing won’t detect impairment from prescription painkillers or other narcotics.&nbsp;The bill also doesn’t outline what happens when a vehicle detects a driver may be impaired other than that the system must “prevent or limit motor vehicle operation if an impairment is detected” which is all well and good in a bar’s parking lot. But what will this system do if an “impairment is detected” while traveling at 75 mph on the highway? [Emphasis added.]</blockquote><h3>Accused by your own car's surveillance system</h3>Satterfield's greatest concern was the question of individual privacy that a vehicle that monitors the driver raises, including who will have access to the data, and other issues such as the right not to self-incriminate under the Fifth Amendment and the Sixth Amendment right to face your accuser.&nbsp;He also expressed concern that most drivers will not be aware of the new technology until it affects them in some way:<blockquote>Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the legislation is the lack of detail. The main concerns expressed by many, including former U.S.Rep. Bobb Barr, come down to privacy. Who will have access to the data? How long will it be stored? Will this capability be exploitable by third-party or government agencies to shut down vehicles outside of the function of preventing impaired driving?&nbsp;Privacy concerns and the 5th Amendment’s right to not self-incriminate, and the 6th Amendment’s right to face one’s accuser, have already been used to challenge data collection from license plate readers and redlight cameras. Automakers have little choice but to comply with new federal mandates and the majority of consumers will likely be unaware of this new technology until it impacts them in some way. [Emphasis added.]</blockquote><h3>Freedom or control?</h3>John Stossel recently <a href=" https://www.frontpagemag.com/the-kill-switch/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">interviewed</a> former vintage race car driver Lauren Fix (video below) about what she believes are the implications of the soon-to-be-implemented impaired driving technology, as reported on FrontPage Magazine.&nbsp;Fix pointed out that the algorithm cannot determine what exactly is happening in the car and with the driver and asks Stossel how much control over his life he is willing to give up:&nbsp;<blockquote>Are you willing to give up every bit of control of your life? &nbsp;Once you give that up, you have no more freedom. This computer decides you can’t drive your vehicle. Great. Unless someone’s having a heart attack and trying to get to the hospital.”</blockquote>California, Fix pointed out, already requires vehicle software to limit excess speed to 10 miles over the limit, legislation about which Frontline News <a href="https://frontline.news/post/cars-to-be-programmed-to-limit-speed-if-california-bill-becomes-law" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">reported</a>.Fix also revealed to Stossel that some companies already collect and sell driver data and proceeded to outline further abuses that could occur as a result of computer surveillance technology such as charging for mileage or monitoring your “carbon footprint” and deciding that you maxed out on your monthly carbon credits so you can't drive anymore till the following month. Or perhaps the car won't start because the software determines you may be on your way to purchase a firearm.<div class="raw-html-embed"><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/N29AaHnzGGM?si=NFbrmdgVVYm75xvs" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>

By Alex NewmanFlush with taxpayer cash from the federal government, state and local officials are rapidly transforming public schools into “full-service community schools” that will address far more than just “education.”&nbsp;<div class="raw-html-embed"><div style="position:relative;width:100%;height:0;padding-top:56.25%;"><iframe src="https://subsplash.com/+78fw/embed/mi/+5j2py6v?audio&amp;video&amp;shareable&amp;embeddable" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen="" mozallowfullscreenallowfullscreen="" style="position:absolute;top:0;left:0;width:100%;height:100%;"></iframe></div></div>In fact, under the guise of caring for the “whole child,” these “community schools” are increasingly taking over the few remaining duties left over to parents — mental health, dental health, vision, nutrition, healthcare, social and emotional wellbeing, and more.&nbsp;The plan is to get children into government hands earlier and earlier, too. The U.S. Department of Education boasted last year in a&nbsp;<a href="https://blog.ed.gov/2023/06/community-schools-fostering-innovation-and-transformation/">blog post</a>&nbsp;that community schools will “support” students “from cradle to career,” something long considered the exclusive domain of parents.&nbsp; &nbsp;The Biden administration, led by a man who notoriously sniffs and touches children while claiming they “are all our children,” has been showering federal funds on the scheme since taking office, as The Newman Report&nbsp;<a href="https://www.freedomproject.com/2022/08/02/newman-report-42/">documented</a>&nbsp;in 2022. Congress has been fully complicit, even under&nbsp;<a href="https://thenewamerican.com/us/education/obama-and-gop-unleash-community-schools-to-replace-parents/">GOP control</a>. &nbsp;Just last year, the Biden Department of Education&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ed.gov/news/press-releases/biden-harris-administration-announces-nearly-74-million-expand-full-service-community-schools">announced</a>&nbsp;yet another $150 million in additional “community school” grants to 30 education agencies — many of them in conservative states where lawmakers would be unlikely to participate if not for the federal tax money. Responding to the federal funding, states have already spent billions on the scheme. &nbsp;Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, who famously denied that parents were the “primary stakeholders” in their children’s education, could barely contain his glee as he announced the new funds.“We know that comprehensive, wrap-around approaches—including nutrition assistance; mental health services; early childhood education; and access to high-quality afterschool summer learning, and enrichment programs—all are crucial for accelerating our students’ academic success and their recovery from the pandemic by helping them thrive both inside and outside of school,” said Cardona.&nbsp;“I am proud that the Biden-Harris Administration is expanding the number of community schools across the country as an evidence-based strategy to Raise the Bar in education and to deliver on our commitment to support students, families, and whole communities,” added the education boss, calling the latest round of taxpayer funding “vital” for supporting the “holistic needs” of children.&nbsp;Already, an estimated 10,000 “community schools” exist across the United States thanks to such grants, launched in the waning months of the Obama administration with&nbsp;<a href="https://thenewamerican.com/us/education/obama-and-gop-unleash-community-schools-to-replace-parents/">RINO support in Congress</a>. And with the federal government funding them and the teachers’ unions pushing them hard, that number is expected to keep ballooning quickly. &nbsp;The far-left National Education Association (NEA), the nation’s largest union with more than 3 million members, touts “community schools” all over its website as essential for all children.&nbsp;It describes them as institutions offering “services and supports like free healthy meals, health care, and tutoring, or systemic changes like shifts in school culture, policies, and approaches to teaching and learning.”&nbsp;On its&nbsp;<a href="https://www.cde.ca.gov/eo/in/ts-communityschools.asp">website</a>, the California Department of Education, which is working hard to get community schools all across the state, highlights some of the differences between them and traditional government schools.“A community school is a public school … has community partnerships that support improved academic outcomes, whole-child engagement, and family development,” the radical leftwing agency declares, listing “integrated supports services” and “extended learning time” as key features.“Community schools support the needs of the whole child,” it continues, with “approaches that sustain mental and behavioral health through healing-centered practices, social–emotional learning, and restorative justice.”The California Department of Education also boasts that the new model increases access to social workers and counselors. These tax-funded experts in the schools can help children transition to new made-up genders, access abortion, and get dangerous psychotropic drugs to enrich Big Pharma.&nbsp;In addition to sidelining parents, community schools also seek to marginalize and ultimately replace institutions such as churches that for centuries have served as “community hubs.”&nbsp; &nbsp;Illinois is one of many states that, using federal funding, have unleashed the “community school” model on the population. Despite junk taxpayer-funded “studies” claiming the model “helps” children, the results suggest just the opposite is true.&nbsp;The prominent “sustainable community school” known as Richards Academy in Chicago, for instance, graduated about two thirds of its victims in four years — yet it did not have one single student proficient in either reading or math on standardized tests, Illinois State Board of Education data show. Almost 80 percent of student are chronically absent. And the school costs taxpayers some $4,000 more per victim.&nbsp;Unsurprisingly, though, the Chicago Teachers Union wants to replicate that “success” across the district.&nbsp;“We have committed as an entire union to using our contract to create more sustainable community schools like Richards Academy,” said CTU boss Stacy Davis Gates at a press conference, calling it the “type of school community that is necessary to nurture, to educate, to reimagine, to ameliorate injustice and disparity.”Using the notorious “Delphi” tactics for manipulating a group of people into a particular outcome while making them think they came up with the ideas, governments across the country are&nbsp;<a href="https://www.wkdzradio.com/2024/03/25/first-of-3-meetings-about-community-schools-grant/news-edge/">holding meetings</a>&nbsp;with taxpayers and parents on the issue. They all end up at the same: Government schools must tax more, spend more, and usurp more control over the lives of children.&nbsp;Ultimately, the goal of these government-controlled community schools is total government. They seek to become the center of the community and life — a replacement for family, church, and genuine community. Universal mental-health screening and government intervention in everything are already being deployed as part of the process.&nbsp;<img class="image_resized" style="width:374px;" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.freedomproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/3364780_1225x377_2500.jpg?resize=696%2C214&amp;ssl=1" alt="">Rather than fight back against the latest outrage from government schools and the Biden administration, parents should do something far more effective: opt out altogether. Parents, children, families, and communities would all be better off leaving the whole system.Families, voluntary associations, and churches — not “community schools” — should be placed back in their central role in the lives of children. Government must be stopped from encroaching any further.
