Medical attempts to treat gender dysphoria leave trail of injury on unsuspecting patients  

Exposing the physical damage from gender demolition procedures

New research published in the&nbsp;International Journal of Obstetrics &amp; Gynaecology (BJOG) looks at the controversial issue of miscarriages and COVID vaccination.&nbsp;The&nbsp;<a href="https://obgyn.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/1471-0528.17721">study</a> looks at data on pregnant women between the ages of 15 and 50 in Ontario, Canada from December 2020 to December 2021, coinciding with the COVID injection campaign.&nbsp;The study divides the women based on their vaccination timing relative to their pregnancies and compared the miscarriage rates between them.&nbsp;While the study deals only with women who were pregnant, the paper goes out of its way to refer to them as “pregnant people” in an apparent tip of the hat to woke “science” that denies the fact that only females can get pregnant.Nevertheless, the study reports some interesting results:&nbsp;The study found that the rate of miscarriage was 3.6 per 10,000 person-days among remotely vaccinated women (more than 27 days before the estimated conception date) and 3.2 per 10,000 person-days among recently vaccinated women (less than 28 days before conception and up to 120 days after conception).The rate for unvaccinated women was only 1.9 per 10,000 person-days.Abortion rates for remotely vaccinated women were 7.7 per 10,000 person-days, 7.4 per 10,000 person-days for recently vaccinated women, and just 4.2 for unvaccinated women.The aggregate figures show miscarriages and abortions were about 1.78 times more common among the vaccinated compared to the unvaccinated.This is a dramatic conclusion for a study funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), under a grant that looks at the COVID vaccine and&nbsp; “existing disparities among marginalized populations." The study was also supported by the Ontario Health Data Platform (OHDP), a “Province of Ontario initiative to support Ontario's ongoing response to COVID-19 and its related impacts.”&nbsp;These two entities have pushed for the government’s failed COVID response including masks, lockdowns, and vaccine mandates.However, rather than concluding that there was an increased association between miscarriages and the COVID shots, as the raw data suggests, the researchers put the numbers through statistical analysis to conclude the opposite - that there was no increased risk of miscarriages among the vaccinated.&nbsp;Expert in&nbsp;analytics and risk management, MIT Professor Retsef Levi&nbsp;<a href="https://twitter.com/RetsefL/status/1732769942489923892">points out</a> several important points about the study:<blockquote><ul><li>The aggregated rates 68–76% higher among vaccinated!</li><li>Authors report that the 'covariate-adjusted' rate of induced abortions is still 10% higher for vaccinated, but not significantly higher for miscarriages!</li><li>Coefficients of the Cox model used for 'adjustment' not reported (major concern)!</li><li>Reported 'Adjustment' for women who are vaccinated during pregnancy is obviously biased since follow-up time post-vaccination in more advanced gestational weeks (lower risk) is compared to follow-up time of unvaccinated during earlier gestational weeks (higher risk)!</li><li>Say a recently vaccinated woman got the vaccine at the end of week 12, she will contribute 13 weeks as unvaccinated and 6 as vaccinated but the latter have a significantly lower risk for miscarriage</li><li>'Adjustment' for women vaccinated before pregnancy doesn't consider the potential booster doses some of them received during pregnancy!</li></ul></blockquote>Prof. Levi adds that it's “hard to believe that these vaccines are still recommended to anyone and particularly pregnant women!”<h3>Previous data</h3>The tension between raw real-world data and researcher-processed data can be found throughout the debate on COVID vaccine effectiveness and adverse reactions.Advocates in favor of vaccinating pregnant women point to numerous studies that show there is no increased risk of miscarriage from the COVID shots — most are included as part of a meta-study called “The risk of miscarriage following COVID-19 vaccination: a systematic review and meta-analysis.”&nbsp;The&nbsp;<a href="https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36794918/">analyses</a> looked at 21 studies and concluded “COVID-19 vaccines are not associated with an increase in the risk of miscarriage or reduced rates of ongoing pregnancy or live birth among women of reproductive age.”&nbsp;&nbsp;But cautioned that the “current evidence remains limited and larger population studies are needed to further evaluate the effectiveness and safety of COVID-19 vaccination in pregnancy.”Data sets that have raised red flags regarding the shots’ association with miscarriages include an overall rise in pregnancy terminations in Scotland beginning with the introduction of the COVID shots as shown in this chart.<figure class="image image-style-align-center image_resized" style="width:80.08%;"><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/_x3I6BkFI5Kz46MwFf6DxuTrm4qELCBj6p3NhvaDG3XGi5PR6HaopFgd0poBNXZLg2gVoCeJwpKnKWvbsfpR027tA_FpgzSjGum29ayjgoSqlo4KWobqEAdyt9GSTjbt0Rz26NxvB0_BtyISE0sxIfA"></figure>The termination rate in Scotland between 2021 and 2022 rose by almost a fifth (19%)Source: Public Health Scotland,&nbsp;<a href="https://publichealthscotland.scot/publications/termination-of-pregnancy-statistics/termination-of-pregnancy-statistics-year-ending-december-2022/">Termination of pregnancy statistics</a>Additionally,&nbsp;Florida Ob-Gyn Dr. Kimberly Biss&nbsp;<a href="https://rumble.com/v3vko5m-ob-gyn-drops-alarming-miscarriage-data-before-congress-ive-never-seen-this-.html">testified</a> before a congressional hearing on “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNkWEcctCpc&amp;ab_channel=CongresswomanMarjorieTaylorGreene">Injuries Caused by COVID-19 Vaccines</a>.” At the hearing, she referred to the dramatic increase in miscarriages in her practice as something she has “never seen before.”&nbsp;Dr. Biss, who has been involved with over 8,000 pregnancies, explained that her patient population had about a 60% vaccination rate which is in line with the Florida average.In 2020 her patients' miscarriage rate was about 4%. In 2021 (the year the shots were administered) she saw a 7–8% rate of miscarriage, and by 2022 that rate doubled again to 15%.&nbsp;Dr. Biss explained that the national average rate of miscarriages is about 5.39% according to a study by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/14767058.2020.1852212">Naert and colleagues</a>.The following graph, produced by prominent Immunologist and Computational Biologist Dr. Jessica Rose, shows the data from Dr. Biss’s clinic.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<figure class="image image-style-align-center image_resized" style="width:75%;"><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/QQP7-6L3LelhmbYdaSu9ullCoFaALZmg7_ytS5rLQ7Zthh4cU_CQT-GfDLbkWby5KskU3m9QaaFTtIcJJ2zlOG9HZeXzg5sQjIs_1Nkz-TX7ubg5Pbf0tuw5cN80a69dWcD1FARsR9GsmnUv6yn4Me4"></figure>Figure 2: Miscarriage data from new patient data from an Obstetrician/Gynecologists’s office for 2020, 2021 and 2022.Source:&nbsp;<a href="https://jessicar.substack.com/p/real-time-obstetriciangynecologists">https://jessicar.substack.com/p/real-time-obstetriciangynecologists</a>&nbsp;The data from Dr. Bliss is concerning, but it is limited to her practice and doesn’t differentiate between vaccinated and unvaccinated.&nbsp;To cast a wider net looking for aggregate data on miscarriages and COVID shots, the FDA’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) is a good place to start.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The system reports more&nbsp;miscarriages for the COVID vaccine than all other vaccines since the system began over 30 years ago.&nbsp;As of July 2023, there were 3,836&nbsp;<a href="https://kirschsubstack.com/p/breaking-vaers-data-clearly-shows#%C2%A7more-miscarriages-for-the-covid-vaccine-than-all-other-vaccines-in-history-combined">reports of spontaneous abortions</a> (i.e., miscarriages) associated with the COVID vaccines out of 4,711 total reports for all vaccines combined — 81% of all reports were just from the COVID shots.&nbsp;VAERS analyst and computational biologist Dr. Jessica Rose compared COVID vaccine adverse events with influenza vaccine adverse events and found that the miscarriage rates per dose are significantly higher among COVID reports than reports following the influenza vaccine. “There were 2.6 times as many COVID shots doled out than flu shots, but a 30 times higher rate of miscarriage in exposed women per million doses,” she observed.&nbsp;<figure class="image image-style-align-center"><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/5VQ7v37Ch0vXg86e2lhWOp5U0MmdGkA11uHj1z_hvBq5QwpMlfgMqRTpuqAR5rjtkeT-fbgwN4KnvqxDOKll0wMNbIk-dohhg3rbCZ8zzmaDxFsYvDK4TEP0a4in7HynXn4XN2-dovwTBIjE6HqIo6g"></figure>Source: <a href="https://jessicar.substack.com/p/according-to-cdc-people-can-get-pregnant">https://jessicar.substack.com/p/according-to-cdc-people-can-get-pregnant</a>&nbsp;The question of whether the COVID shots are associated with miscarriages is still one that has no definitive answer. While vaccine proponents continue to assert its safety, the surge in miscarriages, as reported by individual practitioners and the FDA's Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, challenges that narrative.Comprehensive and unbiased research is what critiques have been demanding not just on this issue, but on a wide variety of issues surrounding the public health response to COVID - as time passes satisfying this demand is as elusive as ever.<hr>Warning: This article contains information about COVID-19. Study reopens debate on whether COVID shots are associated with miscarriages

Data shows link between miscarriage and COVID shots - woke research concludes otherwise

The October 7th Islamic attack on Israel marked the onset of a stark reality — citizens had to become their own protectors.This notion was not foreign to the Jewish people in Israel; self-defense was deeply ingrained into their history. In pre-state Israel Jewish communities, including many kibbutzim, made use of a "<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_and_Stockade" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">wall and tower</a>" approach to establish new communities and to protect their homes, and fields from Muslim aggression.However, as time rolled on and the establishment of formal military and police forces came into being, a sense of complacency began to creep in. While some communities upheld various levels of defensive preparedness, these were typically located in areas adjacent to volatile Muslim areas such as in Judea, Samaria, and along the border regions.The tides turned on October 7th as thousands of Muslims from Gaza initiated an assault on numerous Jewish communities, to rape, murder, and take hostages. The only thing that stood between the blood-thirsty attackers and the residents was a small contingent of civilians, inadequately armed yet determined in their resolve to protect their communities.Several communities that managed to mobilize their internal defenses swiftly succeeded in completely fending off the assailants. Among them are Kibbutz <a href="https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/378083">Zikim</a>, where just a few locals battled terrorists equipped with RPGs and machine guns. Residents of Kibbutz Nir Am similarly <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-67089113">fought off</a> all the attackers and saved everyone in the kibbutz. The security team of Kibbutz Or HaNer, even went over to <a href="https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/article-769148">thwart</a> the terrorist infiltration in the neighboring Kibbutz Erez.However, not all communities fared as well. Some were too underprepared, outnumbered, or delayed in their response to fully prevent these incursions. Despite these challenges, they were still able to save lots of lives by fighting back.Tragically, many first responders from these communities were wounded, killed, or taken captive while defending their towns — most senior among them, the head of the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council, Ofir Libstein, who died defending his kibbutz Kfar Aza. A brief description of how local security forces faired against the terrorist attacks is included at the end of <a href="https://www.ynetnews.com/article/h1yx3zhwt">this</a> article from Ynet News.One clear conclusion emerged from these events: the effectiveness of a community's protection hinged significantly on its local residents. The very people who would be best suited for local preparedness were no longer available.The question that arose was clear-cut and challenging: How could communities safeguard themselves from possible attacks without relying on external forces?<h3>Communities seek tactical gear</h3>Communities are strategically getting a variety of essential tactical equipment to fortify their defense capacities. The extent and type of gear vary significantly among them, dictated by factors such as budget constraints, perceived threats, and internal capabilities.Among the more common items are military-grade bulletproof vests and helmets. Critical protection which has been in short supply since the outbreak of the war, this gear gives the community defenders more time to hold off an attack.&nbsp;During the Muslim massacre, prompt and accurate communication among local defense forces was not what it should have been. The ability to rapidly relay information about an incursion's location to all relevant team members is crucial, ensuring that volunteers and resources are dispatched expediently and accurately. As a response to this need, communities are integrating the use of walkie-talkies within their defense teams, instead of relying on text messaging, thereby streamlining their communication processes.Drones have emerged as a desirable tool for local defense, especially in more rural communities. Offering an aerial perspective, drones equip security teams with valuable insight into the nature of any incoming attack, which can significantly influence their response before the threat is at the gate. Drones are also used for efficient patrols, covering greater areas using fewer resources.Equipped with thermal imaging, these drones are instrumental in detecting nighttime attacks, spotting forest fires, and even aiding in search and rescue missions. This comprehensive adoption of tactical gear underscores the communities' proactive approach, reaffirming their readiness to defend themselves.<h3>Enhancing the handgun</h3>Reservists who had M16 rifles were called up for duty immediately during the Hamas attack, taking their guns with them. The weapons left to defend the home front were limited to handguns. But handguns have limitations.&nbsp;Firearm enthusiasts would be interested to learn about this simple innovation — the Roni. This is a unique attachment, designed to transform a standard 9mm Glock into a formidable, military-style weapon. What makes the Roni such an enhancement? Primarily it's all about stabilizing the firearm so as to optimize accuracy at even longer distances.The mechanism is straightforward yet effective: by securing the handgun within the Roni, the sight radius is extended beyond what a mere handgun could achieve. Its other advantage lies in the additional grip it offers. In contrast to a handgun that provides a single grip — resulting in less stability — the Roni provides an extra grip at the front, augmenting control over the weapon.Moreover, the Roni channels the recoil from the wrist to the shoulder, like a rifle. The doors, forged from robust steel, feature an airtight seal to prevent the incursion of toxic gases.&nbsp;Closing the doors required physical strength, but even when closed, these doors can be opened from the outside - an intentional design to aid rescuers in accessing the room's occupants in case the building around it is destroyed. However, these doors, while helpful against rocket and chemical attacks, were not suited to prevent intrusion by terrorists, robbers, or others looking to get in.During the Hamas attacks, hundreds of families huddled within these shelter rooms, their only barrier against murderous invaders — a steel door that they held tightly shut. The inhabitants were left clinging to the door handles, sometimes for hours on end, as the invaders attempted to break in.In response to this vulnerability, quick-thinking individuals devised an ingenious yet straightforward solution. Unlike the Roni, this solution has no name and is an unassuming simple plank of wood with a hole in it.The plank, cut to fit the width of the door, is drilled with a hole aligned with the door handle when in its upward (closed) position. Once the wooden brace is jammed into the door frame, it renders the door handle immovable, thereby strengthening the room's defense against intrusion.In the immediate aftermath of the Hamas attacks, instructional videos were shared on social media demonstrating how to make and use this life-saving solution. Carpenters and handy people across the nation mobilized, cutting and drilling wooden braces, and distributing them to those in need. These seemingly simple planks of wood exemplified the people's resilience and ingenuity in the face of new kinds of threats.<div class="raw-html-embed"><iframe class="rumble" width="640" height="360" src="https://rumble.com/embed/v3w6zzr/?pub=yeog4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe> </div>Video: Israeli man demonstrating how to use the door brace<h3>Preparing for rocket attacks</h3>The October 7th Islamic attack was more than just an invasion; it came with a devastating deluge of rockets, reinforcing the fears of a similar scenario in northern Israel.&nbsp;In the North, the threat posed by Islamic forces operates under the Hezbollah banner. Despite similarities with Hamas, Hezbollah has been accumulating its arsenal in the 17 years since the Second Lebanon War. It is estimated that they now possess around 200,000 rockets aimed at Israel.In a chilling scenario where over 2,000 rockets could rain down on Israeli territory every day, it's simply not feasible for the government to address each impact site, even where there may be civilians trapped under the rubble. Instead of relying on the government, once again ordinary citizens banded together to create and expand local rescue teams.&nbsp;Equipped with essential tools like jacks, generators, and long pry bars, these teams train, gather more tools, and stand ready to rescue people from collapsed buildings.&nbsp;<h3>Innovative self-reliance&nbsp;</h3>These are just a few of the tools and strategies used by Israelis after the realization that the government cannot be relied upon to defend and secure local communities.&nbsp;Realizing the threats around them, the citizens did not succumb to despair or helplessness - nor are they addressing every possible threat. Instead, they chose to band together, arming themselves with innovative solutions and a spirit of unity. From enhancing safe rooms with a simple plank of wood to equipping local defense forces, they have set an empowering precedent.

How Israeli citizens are protecting themselves after government fails to defend border 

U.S. and Canadian regulatory agencies approved a new mRNA vaccine against COVID and are recommending that everyone over 6-months-old get the shot this fall.&nbsp;With COVID’s reemergence in the headlines and public health officials warning of a dire upcoming flu season, officials are encouraging the public to get vaccinated with the latest mRNA shot against COVID. Before your friends or family roll up their sleeves there are a few things to consider:&nbsp;1. Only the U.S. and Canada recommend vaccination for everyone over 6 monthsThe FDA&nbsp;<a href="https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-takes-action-updated-mrna-covid-19-vaccines-better-protect-against-currently-circulating">approved</a> the new COVID vaccine for those 12 and over, but for children under 12 the FDA has only authorized it under “emergency use,” even though the U.S. federal government&nbsp;<a href="https://www.npr.org/2023/04/11/1169191865/biden-ends-covid-national-emergency">ended</a> the “COVID emergency” back in April.Emergency use authorization should require an emergency. COVID deaths were always very rare in children, with a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2022.10.11.22280963v1">0.0003% infection fatality rate</a> among ages 0–19. There was never any “emergency” for children.&nbsp;Regulatory agencies in the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/news/jcvi-advises-on-eligible-groups-for-2023-autumn-booster">United Kingdom</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.krisinformation.se/en/hazards-and-risks/disasters-and-incidents/2020/official-information-on-the-new-coronavirus/vaccination-against-covid-19/when-is-it-my-turn">Sweden</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.bundesgesundheitsministerium.de/en/coronavirus/faq-covid-19-vaccination.html">Germany</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.fhi.no/en/id/corona/coronavirus-immunisation-programme/coronavirus-vaccine/#vaccine-recommendation-for-autumn-2023">Norway</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://thl.fi/en/web/infectious-diseases-and-vaccinations/what-s-new/coronavirus-covid-19-latest-updates/vaccines-and-coronavirus/getting-vaccinated-against-covid-19-how-why-and-when-">Finland</a>,&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.who.int/news/item/28-03-2023-sage-updates-covid-19-vaccination-guidance">World Health Organization</a> all recommend the shots only for ages 60 or 65 and older or for those with a higher risk of COVID complications. To date, only Canada and the U.S. approved and recommended the shot for low-risk individuals.FDA vaccine adviser, vaccine developer and pediatrician Dr. Paul Offit disagrees with the CDC recommendation to give the shots to everyone over 6 months. <a href="https://pauloffit.substack.com/p/does-everyone-need-a-yearly-covid" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">According</a> to Offit, mRNA shots for COVID are different than annual flu shots; only high-risk people should take the new injection.2. The targeted variant is in declineThe new vaccine is different from previous COVID vaccines in that it targets specifically the XBB1.5 sub-variant of Omicron. What’s so special about this particular sub-variant that a new vaccine was needed? Nothing. The WHO classifies the overall risk as “low”&nbsp;<a href="https://www.who.int/docs/default-source/coronaviruse/20230620xbb.1.5.pdf">explaining</a> that “available evidence does not suggest that XBB.1.5 has additional public health risks [compared to other Omicron variants].”XBB1.5 became a&nbsp;variant of interest in January 2023, increased in prevalence&nbsp;<a href="https://www.who.int/docs/default-source/coronaviruse/20230620xbb.1.5.pdf">worldwide</a>, and made up about 55% of COVID infections during March, then began to decline, dropping to about 23% by June. Now in mid-September, the CDC&nbsp;<a href="https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#variant-proportions">estimates</a> that less than 3% of infections in the U.S. are XBB1.5.Pfizer and Moderna argue that the new vaccine is also protective against the newer EG.5 and FL1.5 variants even though they are not a subset of the XBB1.5 variant it was designed to protect against.If there was a time to release a vaccine targeting XBB1.5 it would have been late last year, but now with the XBB1.5 variant in a steep decline, it’s less relevant.3. Current COVID variants are far less dangerousAll Omicron variants are far less of a threat than previous variants.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9877142/">Compared to Delta</a>, Omicron hospitalizations and deaths are 50% to 80% less. This has been the case for nearly two years.&nbsp;&nbsp;Recently doctors are seeing COVID patients coming in with even milder cases. Last week, New York City's Mount Sinai Downtown Vice Chair of Operations for Emergency Medicine Dr. Erick Eiting <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/covid-symptoms-mild-follow-pattern-doctors-say-rcna105090" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">told</a> NBC News, “Just about everyone who I've seen has had really mild symptoms," adding, "The only way that we knew that it was COVID was because we happened to be testing them."&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;4. COVID vaccines are associated with&nbsp;increased&nbsp;COVID infectionsMany well-intentioned people still believe that taking a COVID vaccine protects others, so even if they are low-risk, they should take an updated shot to prevent transmitting the virus to others.&nbsp;But public health officials <a href="https://rumble.com/v19l0h4-dr.-deborah-birx-admits-the-biden-admins-vaccine-efficacy-claims-were-based.html">concede</a> that COVID vaccines do not prevent infection or transmission past a few weeks.&nbsp;What has not been made widely known is that the COVID shots are associated with negative effectiveness of infection, meaning a vaccinated person is more likely to become infected and transmit the virus to others compared to an unboosted or unvaccinated person.&nbsp;Scientists at the Cleveland Clinic studied last year’s bivalent booster to see what effect it had on infection rates. They examined staff medical records over a period of 6 months and&nbsp;<a href="https://academic.oup.com/ofid/article/10/6/ofad209/7131292?login=false">concluded</a> that "the higher the number of vaccines previously received, the higher the risk of contracting COVID-19."&nbsp;Another study looked at the prison population in the state of California between January and July 2023, comparing inmate infection rates to vaccination status. The&nbsp;<a href="https://www.cureus.com/articles/179946-covid-19-infection-rates-in-vaccinated-and-unvaccinated-inmates-a-retrospective-cohort-study#!/">study found</a> that the “bivalent-vaccinated group had a slightly but statistically significantly higher infection rate than the unvaccinated group [3.24% vs&nbsp;2.72%]&nbsp;in the statewide category.” The difference was even greater in age cohorts of 50+ and 65+.The negative effectiveness of the original COVID vaccines has been observed in&nbsp;<a href="https://frontline.news/pedia/vaccine-negative-effectiveness">several other studies</a>, so it’s not surprising that it also occurred with last year’s booster, and will therefore likely occur with this newly approved vaccine.&nbsp;&nbsp;5. Weak safety data&nbsp;Understanding the safety and potential risks of the new vaccine is of critical importance when evaluating the risk/reward equation. Especially in a situation of moderate or low risk from COVID where even the WHO&nbsp;<a href="https://www.who.int/news/item/28-03-2023-sage-updates-covid-19-vaccination-guidance">does not recommend</a> vaccination due to the “comparatively low public health returns.”What safety data did public health officials use to base their decision on? For those over the age of 18, Health Canada wrote, in their&nbsp;<a href="https://archive.md/O6a70#selection-2293.0-2293.163">decision summary</a> for approving the vaccine, that “[t]he safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity of Spikevax XBB.1.5 are evaluated in an ongoing Phase 2/3 open-label study in participants 18 years of age and older.”&nbsp;The&nbsp;<a href="https://archive.md/O6a70#selection-2293.0-2293.163">decision summary</a> described the study “mRNA-1273-P205 Part J" as follows: "50 participants received a 50 mcg dose of Spikevax XBB.1.5, and 51 participants received a dose of an investigational bivalent vaccine.”It is not a placebo-controlled comparison. Rather, it’s a comparison between the new vaccine to some other “investigational bivalent vaccine.” Also, the sample group is so small that it wouldn’t detect adverse events that are less frequent than 1 in 50 since only 50 participants received the vaccine.&nbsp;In addition, this study is still ongoing and is&nbsp;<a href="https://classic.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/results/NCT04927065?view=results">scheduled</a> to be completed in November 2023 - two months after the vaccine has already been approved.&nbsp;The data supporting safe use for children 6 months to 18 years is even weaker. “[S]afety and effectiveness of Spikevax XBB.1.5 for individuals 6 months of age and older is inferred from studies of a primary series and booster dose of Spikevax.” In other words, there was no study to show the new vaccine is safe. It is merely “inferred.”The weakness of the safety data led Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo to <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/health/covid-booster-warning-florida-surgeon-general-advises-people-not-get-new-vaccine" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">advise</a> people not to get the new vaccine: "There’s been no clinical trial showing that it is a safe product for people — and not only that but then there are a lot of red flags."&nbsp;6. History of past COVID vaccinesSince regulators have cited the safety record of previous COVID vaccines to assure the public that these new vaccines are safe, it is imperative to examine the safety record of the earlier COVID shots.After examining the data that led to the approval of the first mRNA COVID vaccines, red flags were found. One&nbsp;<a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0264410X22010283">peer-reviewed study</a>, published in the journal Vaccine did just that and found that serious adverse events occurred at a rate of 1 in 800 — far more than what is considered acceptable, and well surpassing the rate of COVID hospitalizations.&nbsp;Large numbers of&nbsp;<a href="https://frontline.news/pedia/vaccine-safety">adverse events</a> including deaths were observed at unprecedented levels in vaccine monitoring systems worldwide. Increases in disabilities, excess deaths, and cardiovascular problems were closely associated with previous COVID vaccines.&nbsp;Approval of the new COVID booster vaccine comes with an abundance of red flags. Its effectiveness is questionable and safety data is weak. Furthermore, there have been numerous adverse events associated with earlier COVID vaccines.&nbsp;People need to be aware of the risks before making a decision, and not simply take another shot in the dark.<hr>Warning: This article contains information about COVID-19. 6 things to know before taking the latest COVID shot - analysis

In a bid to gain a more "accurate" assessment of the number of new COVID patients, Israel's Ministry of Health issued a directive Sunday, obtained by&nbsp;Frontline News, requiring all hospitals to resume testing new patients upon admission.&nbsp; &nbsp;The move comes as part of a recent wave of public health initiatives that are ostensibly designed to battle the latest increase in COVID cases. Currently, COVID cases are based on home tests and clinical assessments causing underreporting of new cases, according to the directive.Hospital managers expressed their disapproval of the new requirements saying that testing all patients is excessive and will overburden hospital staff. Instead, they want to test only patients exhibiting clinical signs of a COVID infection.&nbsp;The Association of Government Hospital Directors is expected to write a formal letter to the Ministry expressing their opposition, <a href="https://kan-org-il.translate.goog/content/kan-news/local/517409/?app=True&amp;_x_tr_sl=en&amp;_x_tr_tl=iw&amp;_x_tr_hl=en&amp;_x_tr_pto=wapp">reported</a> Kan News.&nbsp;&nbsp;In addition, a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pecc-il.org/">group of Israeli doctors and scientists</a> who have opposed past excessive COVID controls, <a href="https://twitter.com/PECC_Israel/status/1698720255944667196" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">commented</a> on X (formerly Twitter),&nbsp;“The Ministry of Health continues to be committed to a failed product and a destructive concept and not to public health.”&nbsp;The group also reminded the general public that “since this is an unnecessary examination without medical necessity, it is important for us to make it clear to the hospitalized and their families: There is no obligation for patients to perform [the COVID tests].”The new regulation will undoubtedly increase the number of patients hospitalized&nbsp;with&nbsp;COVID even if they aren’t hospitalized&nbsp;because of COVID.This policy of testing all new admissions, which was in effect during most of the pandemic, has been shown to artificially raise COVID hospitalization numbers.&nbsp;A&nbsp;study from 2021 that investigated COVID admissions to Veterans Affairs hospitals in the US <a href="https://www.researchsquare.com/article/rs-898254/v2?redirect=/article/rs-898254">found</a> approximately 36% of "COVID patients" were likely in the hospital for other reasons.&nbsp;When the State of Massachusetts started to differentiate between patients who were being hospitalized because of COVID instead of merely with COVID,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/01/13/covid-pandemic-deaths-hospitalizations-overcounting/">it was revealed</a> that only about a third of COVID-positive patients were primarily hospitalized for COVID.Similarly, in&nbsp;<a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10381687/New-York-hospitals-admit-nearly-HALF-COVID-patients-admitted-unrelated-maladies.html">New York State</a> 43% of COVID-positive patients were admitted for reasons unrelated to their COVID infection. In New York City, the figure was 51%.Another&nbsp;<a href="https://publications.aap.org/hospitalpediatrics/article/11/8/e151/179740/For-COVID-or-With-COVID-Classification-of-SARS-CoV">study</a> looked at children hospitalized in Northern California and found that among the 117 pediatric COVID-positive patients hospitalized between May 10, 2020, and February 10, 2021, 53 of them (or 45 percent) “were unlikely to be caused by SARS-CoV-2.”&nbsp;The authors concluded that "reported hospitalization rates likely lead to overestimation of the true disease burden."&nbsp;These studies and data sets covered a period that included previous variants that were less infectious. With the latest variant being a more moderate version of the Omicron variant, it is even more likely that the new hospitalization figures about to be reported will paint an even more inaccurate, and exaggerated, picture of COVID’s true&nbsp;disease burden.&nbsp;Why inflate COVID hospitalization numbers? During a rare and candid admission, then-acting New York State Health Commissioner Dr. Mary T. Bassett&nbsp;<a href="https://twitter.com/KeepSchoolOpen/status/1475893919422496775">explained</a> that she over-emphasized COVID-hospitalizations among children, in order “to motivate pediatricians and families to seek the protection of vaccination.”&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;The new regulation that mandates COVID testing for all hospital patients is expected to significantly increase the number of hospitalized patients with COVID, even if they are not hospitalized because of the virus. Backlash as Israel resumes COVID testing for all hospital patients

When critiquing an argument a commonly used logical fallacy occurs when the critic attacks an exaggerated form of an argument or attacks an argument that was never made. This technique is very convenient since it gives the critic the luxury of attacking the argument he wants and not the argument that was actually made.This type of logical fallacy is called a strawman argument — like punching a straw man instead of a real one, it’s an easy target, but its defeat is a cheap victory. Dr. Paul Offit, Professor of pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, used it quite well in his article&nbsp;“<a href="https://pauloffit.substack.com/p/rfk-jr-and-ethnically-targeted-viruses">RFK Jr. and ‘Ethnically Targeted’ Viruses</a>”&nbsp;to avoid dealing with the serious issue Kennedy raised.Offit was writing in response to the now-famous claim made by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that COVID targeted certain ethnic groups more than others. For this claim, RFK Jr. was labeled&nbsp;a <a href="https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/racist-covid-infection-theories-arent-just-wrong-they-are-deadly/">racist</a>, and demands were made for him to be censored. Members of the House of Representatives even wanted him&nbsp;<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/democrats-censor-remove-rfk-jr-hearing-censorship-despicable-comments">banned from testifying</a> at a committee hearing about — of all topics — censorship.&nbsp;Amidst the flurry, Kennedy provided the&nbsp;<a href="https://bmcmedicine.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12916-020-01673-z">source</a> for his claim — which indeed shows that the mechanism by which COVID enters the cells is more prevalent in some ethnicities than others. Offit does a great job of explaining the study, what it shows, and what it doesn’t, namely that while COVID does differentiate based on ethnicity, it is clinically irrelevant because other factors are much more significant such as age, health profile, and immunity.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The discussion should end here — Kennedy’s claim was supported by evidence. Instead, Offit criticizes Kennedy with two strawman arguments. First, that Kennedy said that COVID was more dangerous to different ethnic groups. Second, that Kennedy claimed the study showed COVID originated in a lab&nbsp;RFK Jr., when <a href="https://rumble.com/v30mtgi-rfk-jr-on-covid-short-clip.-attacks-certain-races..html">talking informally</a> at a press event, was explaining his concern that biological weapons could be produced where instead of a virus targeting everyone equally, it could be designed to target specific populations based on their ethnic and genetic makeup — an obvious advantage for a weaponized virus.As an example to support his concern, Kennedy mentioned that “there is an argument that [COVID] is ethnically targeted. COVID-19 attacks certain races disproportionately.” He was clearly referring to the makeup of the virus, that it had a mechanism to attack based on ethnicity.&nbsp;This was the point he was making, and this was the point the study showed.&nbsp;He was talking about the mechanism, aspect, or ability to program a virus to target different ethnic groups which was present in COVID. He was not making a claim about the clinical outcomes of COVID based on ethnicity.&nbsp;A side point worth noting is that the Assistant Secretary for Health, Dr&nbsp;Rachel Levine&nbsp;who, as part of the Biden Administration’s vaccination campaign&nbsp;<a href="https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=449916792903431">said</a> that data show “ethnic minorities” were more likely to test positive, be hospitalized, and die from COVID.&nbsp;Though the Assistant Secretary would probably attribute this increased risk to institutionalized racism and not genetics, it was nevertheless mainstream public health officials who claimed COVID clinical outcomes differed based on ethnicity.Strawman argument #1: Kennedy was making a clinical assessment about who suffered more from COVID. In reality, he was claiming that mechanisms exist for viruses to target certain ethnic groups.Strawman argument #2: Kennedy claimed the same study showed that COVID originated in a lab and could therefore be used as a bioweapon. Offit then goes on to dismiss the suspicion as a “false belief” and merely a “cultural controversy.”&nbsp;The study did not address the origins of COVID and Kennedy never claimed it did, so refuting the made-up claim that he did is classic strawman argumentation.Sadly, the most disappointing part of the criticisms of Kennedy's statement was that they missed the main point he was trying to make — scientists and governments must take seriously biomedical&nbsp;gain-of-function&nbsp;research that modifies viruses to make them more transmittable.The evidence that COVID was the result of a laboratory experiment has persuaded many experts in mainstream public health circles including Robert Redfield, CDC director when COVID emerged.In an interview, Redfield said, “There is evidence that this virus was manipulated to be highly transmissible among humans” and that it was most likely “caused by science and not a natural spillover.”&nbsp;&nbsp;<div class="raw-html-embed"><iframe class="rumble" width="640" height="360" src="https://rumble.com/embed/v2bixpa/?pub=yeog4&amp;start=211" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>Recently it’s been revealed that even the scientists who in early 2020 publicly dismissed the possibility,&nbsp;<a href="https://public.substack.com/p/top-scientists-misled-congress-about">privately acknowledged</a> their doubts and suspected COVID had a laboratory origin.&nbsp;&nbsp;Far from being a false belief, one would expect Offit and other public health officials, regardless of their views on masks, lockdowns, and vaccines to take seriously the valid possibility, expressed by their colleagues, that COVID originated from authorized medical research and resulted in millions of deaths.Kennedy’s warning that biotechnology already exists to alter viruses and can be used to commit genocide of historic proportions should be heeded and not falsely picked apart using logical fallacies.<hr>Warning: This article contains information about COVID-19. Grasping at straws to avoid dealing with uncomfortable possibility 

Offit’s strawman arguments poorly deflect Kennedy bioweapons warning - analysis

A recent survey conducted by Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) has revealed <a href="https://www.cbs.gov.il/he/mediarelease/doclib/2023/208/19_23_208b.pdf">alarming data</a> about the mental health of over a million citizens in the midst of the government's response to COVID. The survey, which questioned 6,500 people aged 20 and over, showed that 19 percent reported their mental health had worsened during the crisis.&nbsp;The survey was released this week and was conducted in 2022 as part of CBS's annual survey on health. The report also revealed that 17% of the population over 20 reported a decrease in their overall health.&nbsp;The survey is based on respondents' answers and not on medical data, but the increase in mental health problems has been identified in other more direct medical data.&nbsp;For example, <a href="https://www.ynet.co.il/news/article/s14i00roy5">an increase in eating disorders</a> among teenagers in Israel was also observed during COVID. In 2019, before COVID, 64 people were hospitalized for eating disorders at Sheba Medical Center. By March 2021 that number had jumped to 124 patients — almost doubling.Another Israeli <a href="https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2022.01.06.22268809v2.full-text">study examined</a> over 200,000 adolescents' medical records from 2016 to 2021. The data from Maccabi, the largest HMO in Israel, found the incidence of depression increased by 36% during COVID among 12–17-year-olds.&nbsp;The same study also revealed a 25% increase in dispensation of antidepressants and a 28% increase in antipsychotics during the same period. The mental health crisis is not just a perception, but a reality.The Israeli government was well aware of the damage being done to the mental health of its population early on. In a Knesset committee hearing in April 2020 <a href="https://main.knesset.gov.il/news/pressreleases/pages/press06.04.20x.aspx">mental health experts warned</a> of a coming mental health crisis, foreseeing increased anxiety, depression, and suicides.The committee heard from the Chairman of the Association of Psychiatry, Dr. Zvi Fishel who said, "Some of the anxiety we see is fueled from the top down and reinforced by the media."&nbsp;By the end of the first year of COVID, the CBS report confirmed the warnings were coming to fruition In May 2020, 20% said their mental state had worsened. That number went up to 26% in July and 30% by the end of the year. But it still did not stop the government's extreme policies or the media's panicked-driven coverage.The Israeli public is very resilient; for decades it has withstood numerous wars, bus bombings, and more recent waves of highway shootings and rocket attacks from Arab nationalists. If there is a population that can handle a crisis without panicking, it is Israel.But the Israeli COVID response was particularly harsh, implementing three national lockdowns, mandating masks even outdoors, prohibiting people from being more than 100 meters from home, monitoring people's cellphone location, coercing its population to participate in Pfizer's vaccine experiment, and was the first country to implement green pass restrictions. These are some of the well-known examples of how life under Israel's COVID response was more difficult than in other countries.Still, the mental health crisis is not unique to Israel. Canadians experienced a <a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0165178120332923?via%3Dihub">37.4% increase</a> in mental health problems. In the US, <a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0091743520302553?via%3Dihub">an analysis</a> found 1 in 4 adults without pre-existing mental health conditions experienced “psychological distress,” 39% anxiety, and 19% depression. The UK also <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-mental-health-and-wellbeing-surveillance-report/2-important-findings-so-far">documented</a> increases of up to a third in "clinically significant levels of distress" during the COVID response. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Could it be that COVID itself is responsible for the increase in mental health problems? A newly released study looked that very question.Also published this week, <a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1054139X23002811">the study</a> looked at Israeli youth aged 12–17 to examine what connection COVID infections had on mental health up to two years after infection. It compared those who were infected with those who weren't to see which group had more subsequent mental health conditions while accounting for pre-existing psychiatric history.It found that COVID infection was significantly associated with reduced risks for dispensation of antidepressants, anxiety, depression, and stress. The authors concluded:<blockquote>This large, population-based study suggests that SARS-CoV-2 infection is not associated with elevated risk for mental distress in adolescents. Our findings highlight the importance of taking a holistic view on adolescents' mental health during the pandemic, with consideration of both SARS-CoV-2 infection and response measures.</blockquote>Meaning, COVID infections don't cause mental problems despite the mandatory quarantine that the COVID-positive had to endure.&nbsp;It was the response, not the virus that made people crazy. This notion, if not obvious, is supported by <a href="https://journals.plos.org/plosmedicine/article?id=10.1371/journal.pmed.1004144">this study</a> out of the UK that examined depression and anxiety in England during COVID. The study found that "more stringent policy response (measured by stringency index) was associated with increased depressive symptoms."This week's data from the Israeli CBS has revealed, once again, a concerning rise in mental health issues during COVID. This is corroborated by other medical studies that have observed increases in eating disorders, depression, and anxiety particularly among young people. Studies show harsh government policy responsible, not COVID

Israel government was aware of mental health damage to population from lockdowns early on

Amidst the fallout of the COVID shot, many needing blood transfusions are requesting unvaccinated blood.&nbsp;Blood banks across the world make no distinction between vaccinated and unvaccinated donors' blood. The American Red Cross&nbsp;<a href="https://twitter.com/RedCross/status/1569869268296105990">states</a> that the “vaccine does not enter the bloodstream &amp; poses no safety risks to the recipient” but many would-be blood recipients are skeptical. They would like to be able to get their blood transfusions from a donor who did not receive the COVID injection.<a href="https://safeblood.net/en/">SafeBlood</a> is an organization that proposes to satisfy this demand.&nbsp;<a href="https://dailyclout.io/safeblood-aims-for-medical-freedom/">Founded</a> about two years ago by&nbsp;George Della Pietra, a retired naturopath living in Switzerland, SafeBlood&nbsp;has a growing database of unvaccinated people who are willing to donate blood. They aim to coordinate between donors and recipients, but finding blood processors to cooperate in this endeavor has been challenging.&nbsp; So far, they have found cooperative clinics only in the U.S.; even those processors choose to cooperate quietly and do not advertise their affiliation with SafeBlood.&nbsp;<h3 style="text-align:justify;">Learning from the past</h3>Donated blood is routinely tested for many potential infectious vectors, but there is always the possibility of new, emerging pathogens. "We have to be pretty much on our toes for those sorts of threats all the time," said American Red Cross Chief Medical Director Richard Benjamin in 2011.&nbsp;In the early 1980s, it was&nbsp;<a href="https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25121199/">determined</a> that hemophiliacs were at risk of acquiring AIDS from donated blood and it was thus desirable that they receive donations only from donors who were screened to eliminate potential carriers of HIV. Since there was no test for HIV at the time, such screening entailed asking questions about the donor’s sexual activity. Eventually, a laboratory test to detect HIV in donated blood eliminated the need to ask uncomfortable questions — although the ability of MSM (men who have sex with men) to donate blood in the U.S was&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ajmc.com/view/fdas-revised-blood-donation-guidance-for-gay-men-still-courts-controversy">restricted</a> until&nbsp;<a href="https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/how-to-donate/eligibility-requirements/lgbtq-donors.html">recently</a>. Since it was confirmed that HIV was a real risk to blood recipients, donated blood is regularly&nbsp;<a href="https://www.livescience.com/16007-blood-supply-safety.html">tested</a> for HIV and rejected if positive.Many people who didn’t take the COVID vaccine worry that they are in a position today similar to that of hemophiliacs before it was recognized that one could be infected with HIV via blood transfusion. The mRNA technology is quite new and its use in a vaccine is still being studied, even as it was rolled out as an emergency measure against COVID. There have been studies published that indicate that the vaccine can affect the blood, despite the claims of the American Red Cross.<h3 style="text-align:justify;">The concern&nbsp;</h3>One&nbsp;<a href="https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/apm.13294">study</a>, published on January 17, 2023, followed a group of patients with chronic hepatitis C (HCV patients). Their blood was regularly tested for hepatitis C mRNA, so the researchers were able to compare samples from before and after COVID vaccination. Those who weren’t vaccinated provided a convenient control group. The researchers "surprisingly found fragments of COVID-19 vaccine mRNA up to 28 days post-vaccination in blood from chronic HCV patients vaccinated with mRNA vaccines from both Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna."&nbsp;&nbsp;While partial to full vaccine mRNA sequences were detected in only 9.3% of the vaccinated HCV patients, the study raises legitimate concerns about the blood in those who were vaccinated. Another&nbsp;<a href="https://www.mdpi.com/2227-9059/10/7/1538">study</a>, published in June 2022, “found that vaccine-associated synthetic mRNA persists in systemic circulation [in blood plasma] for at least 2 weeks."Other studies have&nbsp;<a href="https://ijvtpr.com/index.php/IJVTPR/article/view/37">detected</a> foreign materials or&nbsp;<a href="https://ijvtpr.com/index.php/IJVTPR/article/view/47">changes</a> in the structure of blood after vaccination. Spike protein has also been&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/abs/10.1161/CIRCULATIONAHA.122.061025">found</a> circulating in the blood of people who developed myocarditis after vaccination.&nbsp;Even amongst researchers who support the use of mRNA vaccines, there is&nbsp;<a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1471491422001034">recognition</a> that “adverse effects (AEs) following vaccination have been noted which may relate to a proinflammatory action of the lipid nanoparticles used or the delivered mRNA (i.e., the vaccine formulation), as well as to the unique nature, expression pattern, binding profile, and proinflammatory effects of the produced antigens – spike (S) protein and/or its subunits/peptide fragments – in human tissues or organs.”<h3>Who’s decision</h3>A case in New Zealand pitted hospital staff against the parents of a four-month-old baby named Will who needed urgent heart surgery. The baby would certainly need blood as part of the surgery, and the parents wanted to do the surgery and receive a blood transfusion, however, they wanted the blood to come from an unvaccinated donor. They were told by the&nbsp;New Zealand Blood Service&nbsp;that, “it does not make a distinction between vaccinated and unvaccinated donors.”&nbsp;The baby’s mother explained that they didn’t want to “take a risk with a boy who already has a heart condition”. The parents insisted on waiting to do the surgery until they could get blood from unvaccinated donors and reportedly&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/new-zealand-govt-seizes-baby-after-parents-refuse-covid-jab-tainted-blood-for-childs-heart-surgery/">located</a> 20 acceptable donors. However, the medical staff didn’t think the surgery should wait and thought the demand for unvaccinated blood was unnecessary. The chief pediatric cardiac surgeon told the parents it was “simply impractical to have a directed donor.” and eventually a court ordered the operation done without the parents’ consent.&nbsp;The parents were concerned by a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/09/mother-blames-vaccinated-blood-death-one-month-old-baby-died-blood-clot-following-blood-transfusion/">case</a> of another baby, Alex, earlier the same year in the U.S. Alex also needed surgery, and his parents also wanted him to receive only unvaccinated blood. They were informed by hospital staff that it was very expensive to get a directed donation, which they later found out was not true. But there would be more paperwork, and that would take additional time.&nbsp;Baby Alex luckily did not need the blood during his surgery, but a doctor decided he needed blood a few hours after the surgery and gave him from the general supply. The next day, Alex developed a blood clot that did not respond to blood thinners and died a few weeks later.&nbsp;When she heard of the Baby Will case, Alex's mother&nbsp;Cornelia&nbsp;<a href="https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/baby-alex-the-definitive-accountin?utm_source=substack&amp;utm_campaign=post_embed&amp;utm_medium=web">asked&nbsp;</a>the hospital for copies of Alex’s hospital records, but the hospital&nbsp;<a href="https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/baby-alex-the-definitive-accountin?utm_source=substack&amp;utm_campaign=post_embed&amp;utm_medium=web">reportedly</a> claimed to have no record of his case.There is still no definitive evidence of harm from blood donated by vaccinated individuals, but there are indications that the question is not as settled as the American Red Cross suggests. In Baby W’s case, the judge&nbsp;<a href="https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/baby-blood-donor-battle-parents-appear-on-american-conspiracist-alex-jones-podcast/K3IEPVLT25BPHOTRX3JSVUDFJE/">determined</a> that “[t]here is no evidence that trace amounts of the vaccine in blood or blood products could cause myocarditis”.The absence of evidence, nevertheless, is not evidence of absence, especially in the presence of signals of possible harm, as the papers above and the case of baby Alex represent. The British National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)&nbsp;<a href="https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ng24/chapter/recommendations">writes</a> that transfusion patients&nbsp;“have the right to be involved in discussions and make informed decisions about their care”.&nbsp;Do patients, or the parents of a minor patient, truly have the right to make their own treatment decisions? Should doctors have the right to overrule the patient’s decisions? This is a complicated ethical issue, but perhaps it could be avoided if the authorities were willing to be flexible and allow the acquisition of directed donor blood when possible. What's behind demands for unvaccinated blood?

This week a small but significant decision by the Israeli government to return the words "father" and "mother" on government forms presents a victory for family values and reversing woke political correctness that has been sweeping the world.The order released by Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fox, stated that all government offices must provide forms that include the words "father" and "mother" in addition to the current forms that list "parent 1" and "parent 2".While much of gender-neutral terminology has its roots in progressive academia, in Israel the battle against using the terms "father" and "mother" started in kindergarten, explains Michael Fua of the organization <a href="https://bfamily.org.il/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Choosing Family</a>&nbsp;in conversation with Frontline News.About four years ago Naamat, an organization which operates several kindergartens, made a change in a traditional role-playing activity where children pretend to have a family Sabbath meal. Instead of having "Sabbath father" and "Sabbath mother" the kindergarten coined a new gender-neutral term "Sabbath greeter".&nbsp;Naamat <a href="https://raanana.mynet.co.il/local_news/article/m_364421">said</a> they were responding to the changing reality of family which necessitated a change in their values-education.&nbsp;Removing the roles of mom and dad from kindergarten can have a significant effect on how children perceive what family, parents, mom, and dad are — and that's the point."This is part of a larger move designed to change consciousness through language, to delete the words father and mother and turn them into offensive terms," Fua explained.The drive to remove the labels "father" and “mother” didn't stop there. In October 2020 Knesset Member Yorai Lahav Hertzanu <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/knesset-shoots-down-pro-lgbt-bill-to-require-gender-neutral-terms-for-parents/">introduced a bill</a> to replace "father" and "mother" on all government forms with "parent 1" and "parent 2". Even though the bill was overwhelmingly rejected by a vote of 48–25 several government departments implemented the change anyway.The issue came to a boiling point in 2021 when Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national blood bank and ambulance service, switched "father" and "mother" to "parent 1" and "parent 2" on blood donor forms.Religious educational institutions led a public outcry, boycotting blood drives. Institution leaders <a href="https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/religious-zionist-rabbis-ban-students-from-donating-blood-due-to-form-options-683590">said</a> the change would "weaken the healthy family consciousness and the national identity," and that "every granting of legitimacy begins with a change of language."&nbsp;After a decline in blood donations, MDA removed the entire question about the donor's parents <a href="https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/politics-and-diplomacy/article-734277">claiming</a> the information wasn't all that necessary after all. &nbsp;Fast forward to December 2022 when a newly elected government included in its coalition agreement a commitment to reinstate the terms "mother" and "father". &nbsp;With pressure from organizations like Choosing Family,&nbsp;and the traditional Noam Party, the government announced this week they would reinstitute the use of "mother" and "father".&nbsp;While this latest change is a win for traditional labels, there is still more to be done. Under the new policy there are still forms that use "parent 1" and “parent 2” alongside forms that use "father" and "mother". This is something between a stalemate and a compromise — each side gets a form of their own.Reflecting on the efforts that have been made, Fua reiterates the importance of the issue, "Every person has a father and a mother, and we mustn't remove this basic concept from our language or our culture."&nbsp;The next step in restoring traditional labels is to have it codified into law. &nbsp;Choosing Family has already prepared a bill to change forms from using parent 1/parent 2 to using father/mother twice accommodating same-sex households while respecting the terms "father" and "mother". &nbsp;&nbsp;
